CCCOG ANNUAL REPORT 2025
REFLECTING ON 2024
March 2025
C3 into the Future:
As we move into the new fiscal year, I believe that God has even greater plans for us. There are new opportunities for ministry, for growth, and for God’s Kingdom advancing. We are entering this next season with great anticipation, knowing that God's will for our church is unfolding in ways we cannot yet fully understand. But we trust in His leading and remain committed to following His call, wherever it may take us.
I encourage you to continue praying for our church and for the leadership team as we seek God’s direction. Let us remain faithful in our service, and let us always be a church that shines the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs it.
C3 Family ON Mission:
What does it mean to be and live as a “Family ON Mission”? Defined as an extended family of faith integrating discipleship into the fabric of our everyday lives. Families on mission share several basic characteristics:
A Family On Mission adds faces to the table, not boards to the fence. Extending the seats at the table brings hospitality to the forefront while adding boards to the fence keeps people at arm's length. Boards in the fence provide self-protection where Jesus invites us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
A Family On Mission shows up in the community. As much as possible, we say “yes” to the Kingdom invitations God provides. Discerning where and what these invitations are requires listening and doing, hearing and obeying. We trade tools and yard work, play dates and birthday invitations, partnerships and collaborations.
A Family On Mission looks like church, no matter where we are. The Book of Acts gives us a glimpse of what this can look like for us today: breaking bread, sharing where there is need, praying & worshiping together, and serving those around us.
A Family On Mission offers security and predictable patterns. What matters to us reflects in the things we prioritize. Intentional rhythms can aid a Family On Mission to better hear from God and respond faithfully and obediently. These predictable patterns can breathe fresh life into stagnant souls.
Families On Mission parent like Jesus. The Gospels give us a clear picture of the way Jesus led his disciples. In Jesus we see a spiritual parent who listens, trains, challenges, disciplines, nurtures and loves His friends.
Living as a Family On Mission isn't about trying to be and do all things for all people; it is about being a family, walking closely with Jesus, and inviting others to join us in following Him. A Family On Mission lives a Jesus-shaped life.
Thank You!
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support, prayers, and service. Your contributions—whether through time, talent, or treasure—are vital to the mission. Together, as C3 Family ON Mission we can continue to shine the light of Christ in our community and beyond.
Blessings,
Devin Burton

Second Term, Third Year
Note: Henry will be completing Elder Jenny Bauska’s second term, third year.
I’ve been attending C3 for 10 years, where I’ve served in youth ministry, as an elder, and on the teaching team. I also work with Impact Campus Ministry at Centralia College, where I’m both a student and staff member. Shirley and I have been married for nearly 30 years, and we have 3 children, all 7 years apart, with the youngest being 21. We are blessed with 2 grandchildren. I’ve served as an elder for 3 years and continue to serve on the teaching team. Discipleship and mentoring are central to my heart, and I’m working every day to improve in these areas as I follow Jesus. Outside of ministry, I love soccer I enjoy spending time in the woods, away from everything, as well as being with my family and embracing the joys of being a grandpa.

First Term, First Year
I've been following Jesus since I was 14 years old and have always had a deep desire to be in relationship with Him and to care for others- both within the church and in the community where God has planted me- my neighborhood, workplace, my kids' school, and beyond. My husband Rick and I just celebrated 20 years of marriage and we have two amazing kids, Annie, who is almost 15 and Joe, who is 14. We have been involved here at CCCOG since early 2022, when we moved to Lewis County after 17 years in the Olympia area. I love God's people and I've served in many different ways in my "pre C3" past; as a Sunday school teacher, a church administrator, an overseas missionary, a youth leader, a MOPS coordinator, a small group leader and a small group ministry director. I have a passion to help people grow as followers of Jesus and walk with God in every season of their lives, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve the family on mission here at C3.

Second Term, First Year
I have been a Christian since I was fourteen. I met my wife, Sandy, when I went to Western Seminary in the late 1970s. We married in 1981 after I graduated.. Sandy and I spent 10 years as missionaries to the Philippines. We returned to the U.S. in 1994 and moved to Centralia for my job as a social worker with the State of Washington. I retired from the State in 2020. We have been at C3 since 1997. I have served in various ministries: Youth, adult class teacher, home group leader, Worship Team, etc. I have served on the Elder Board several times since coming to C3. Sandy served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. I am excited to watch what God is doing in and through C3. We enjoy spending time gardening and spending time with our daughter and granddaughter.

Second Term, First Year
I was born in Mexico and raised in Rochester and have been attending CCCOG for seven years now. I live with my beautiful wife, Gaby, of 10 years, and my two daughters (Soleil age 9 and Scarlett age 5), and my son Jack (9mo) in Centralia. You may have seen me up on stage playing the drums with my wife who plays keys and sings. Music is my passion! It is the way I can express myself to God. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. I live by this everyday, even when times get hard. Learning and hearing about all of God’s promises gives me comfort and joy.
